Important Information for Scuba Diving
We have a passion for showing you Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, so please make sure you understand the scuba diving laws.
Queensland, Australia has some of the strictest scuba diving rules in the world but also the safest scuba diving record. The Queensland Government Code of Practice regulates us and comply with all regulations, including medical as is the law.
We strongly recommend that our passengers complete our dive medical questionnaire before booking as some medical conditions, age and medications may prevent scuba diving.

Flying after Scuba Diving
For a single no decompression scuba dive, you should not fly or go to altitude for at least 18 hours after a scuba dive. For multiple dives, you should not fly for 24 hours after your last dive. If Skydiving or Hot Air Ballooning you must wait 24 hours after your dive. We recommend waiting a minimum of 24 hours whenever possibleDay 2 – Whitewater Rafting
This half-day Whitewater Rafting on the Barron River is a great and fun way to discover the pristine rainforest surrounding Cairns, in Tropical North Queensland.
Feel the rush of white water rafting within the remarkable wilderness of Australia’s tropical rainforests with your experienced River Guide. Travel along alternating smooth and bumpy waters of the Barron River as it winds its way through the heart of the Barron Gorge National Park, and its breathtaking scenery.
When finished, enjoy a swim, pack up your raft and change into dry clothes, then enjoy tea and coffee before transferring back to your accommodation.

Day 3 – Scenic Train & Skyrail
Travelling by scenic rail, you will learn about the pioneering history of the tropical north.
During the 90 minute journey, it is climbing over 40 small bridges and through many dark tunnels while winding its way from Cairns to Kuranda.
You will be in awe of the excellent views of the world listed rainforest, steep ravines and picturesque waterfalls within the Barron Gorge National Park.
While Kuranda Scenic Rail gives visitors a fantastic view of the rainforest at ground level, Skyrail Rainforest Cableway provides an extraordinary birds-eye-view of the rainforest from above. You soar silently only meters above the rainforest canopy.
Glide metres above the rainforest canopy before descending through the canopy layers and deep into the heart of the rainforest at Skyrail’s two mid-stations where you can hop off and enjoy rainforest walks along the boardwalks.
