Day 1 begins with hotel transfer from Cairns city accommodation or self check-in at the retail shop, followed by morning departure and a light breakfast onboard. The first dive is before lunch, then more diving follows through the afternoon before dinner and a night dive. Day 2 includes an early morning dive, breakfast, more daytime diving, dinner and a second night dive. Day 3 begins with a sunrise dive, followed by more morning dives, lunch and return to Cairns later that day. The exact site order can change with weather, tides and currents.

Optional upgrades include additional certification courses such as PADI Advanced Open Water and PADI Enriched Air Nitrox, plus an enriched air package for already certified Nitrox divers. An optional farewell dinner is also available after the trip at extra cost.
What to bring
What to Bring
Bring clothing and swimwear, warm clothes for the evening, two towels, a sun hat, marine-safe sunscreen, toiletries, seasickness medication and your certification card if you are already certified. Bring a dive medical if required, and any alcoholic drinks you would like for the evening. Shoes are not necessary, and extra luggage can be stored securely at the retail shop.

Pro Dive Cairns 3 day liveaboard departs from Cairns. Complimentary transfers are available from Cairns city accommodation, while Northern Beaches transfers cost extra. Check-in is at the Pro Dive Cairns retail shop on the corner of Grafton and Shields Streets, and guests are encouraged to visit the shop the evening before departure to organise equipment and paperwork.

Some medical conditions may prevent guests from diving, and a waiver plus medical statement must be completed before the trip. If you have an illness, injury, relevant condition or are taking prescription medication, you may need a doctor’s certificate stating you are fit to dive. Guests are advised not to fly within 24 hours of diving, and the operator states that full refunds are available up to 48 hours before commencement, with no refund after that time. Dive numbers may vary due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
