Fitzroy Island and Moore Reef 1-Day Package
- 2 hours at Moore Reef Pontoon
- 2 hours on Fitzroy Island
Experience the ultimate adventure by combining 2 hours at Moore Reef pontoon + Fitzroy Island stop-over in a day! First, journey out to the Outer Barrier Reef on the comfortable, spacious, air-conditioned catamaran.
Moore Reef Pontoon
Positioned at Moore Reef is an activity platform with many ways in which you can access and see the Great Barrier Reef.
Snorkel in the naturally coral-fringed lagoon, where professional lifeguards keep watch. There are two snorkel platforms on the pontoon, with water access via stairs, making it easy to explore Moore Reef. An enclosed ocean pool is ideal for young children to swim in the sea at wading height, while a slide down the 30-meter spiral waterslide is a wonderful way to enter the tropical ocean.
If you prefer to stay dry, there are still plenty of options to explore. A semi-submersible tour is a great way to tour the Reef without jumping in the water, while a glass-bottom boat tour provides views from above. Onboard the pontoon, visit the underwater observatory to view the impressive natural fish tank with views of the outer reef coral and marine life. A visit to the touch tank gets you up close to marine life while learning about this unique ecosystem.
Fitzroy Island
Enjoy 2 hours on this beautiful island for an unforgettable experience. The lush rainforest meets sandy beaches before giving way to the marine life and coral of the Great Barrier Reef.
When visiting Cairns, a trip to view the coral and marine life of the Great Barrier Reef is a must-do. Fitzroy Island is ideal for those who wish to visit the various tropics’ various ecosystems.
Just want one or the other?
You can visit Fitzroy Island and explore on your own or visit the Moore Reef Pontoon.

Your Safety Is Our First Priority
Some medical conditions, age and/or medications may prevent you from scuba diving. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you complete our Scuba Diving Questionnaire prior to booking. After all, we want you to be able to enjoy every aspect of your adventure.
Flying after Scuba Diving
For a single no-decompression scuba dive, you should not fly or go to altitude for at least 18 hours. If you are joining multiple dives, however, you will need to wait 24 hours after your last dive. Additionally, this also includes Skydiving and Hot Air Ballooning. However, we recommend waiting a minimum of 24 hours whenever possible
